Fair Valley Farm is a diversified livestock farm, focusing on raising grass-fed and pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, chicken and turkey. It was started by a former city kid from Texas, turned farmer, after having learned about the state of our food system and the negative impact it was having on animals, the environment and our nation (and world for that matter).

At Fair Valley Farm, we work hard to raise our animals in the best way we know how, allowing them to express their natural tendencies and enjoy life outdoors on pasture. We use farming practices that are regenerative to the land and require much lower inputs of fossil fuels than conventional farming methods. The result is delicious, healthy and nutritionally dense meat and poultry that you can feel good about eating.

Jenni Manion, Owner & Farm Manager

Born and raised in Texas, Jenni grew up spending summers visiting family in Eugene, where her love for local and homegrown food was sown. Eventually she made her way to Oregon and after spending a year apprenticing at a pasture-based farm in Corvallis, established Fair Valley Farm here in Eugene in 2012.

Jenni manages the overall farm business - planning production, managing the financials and overseeing marketing activities and customer communications.

Outside of farming, Jenni loves to hit the running trails with her border collies, Scout and Zoey. She also stays involved with the farm community - currently serving on the steering committee for Lane County Bounty’s future cooperative efforts.
